Taiga Takahashi

Founded by Taiga Takahashi, the label emerged from a deep fascination with the stories embedded in historical garments. After studying at Central Saint Martins in London and later relocating to New York, Takahashi assembled an archive of more than 1,000 pieces spanning three centuries, approaching clothing with the eye of both an artist and a historian.

Rather than simply reproducing the past, his work sought to reinterpret it—transforming forgotten details and traditional craftsmanship into garments designed for contemporary life.

Following Takahashi’s unexpected passing in 2022, his close collaborators assumed stewardship of the brand, continuing to honour his singular vision. Today, the label remains a dialogue between past and present, preserving his legacy while carrying it into the future.
