R21S4 OD Shirt Dark Mud

A relaxed, straight cut shirt with generous room through the armholes, relaxed sleeves with single button closure, a high stand collar, button front, and large left chest pocket.
The fabric is a high density parachute cloth of 70% cotton and 30% linen, woven on a wooden shuttle loom in Shizuoka, Japan. Each garment is first dyed in a tannin rich bath made from the bark of local Teichiki wood, then immersed in iron rich mud, a process known as dorozome. This piece has undergone 25 cycles of mud dyeing to achieve its depth of colour. Hand dyed by Kanai Kougei in Amami Ōshima. Slight irregularities in the finished colour may occur. Designed to evolve with washing, wear, and exposure to sunlight.

Care: hand wash in cool water with a small amount of natural detergent. Pat fabric flat and line dry in shade.
