Limited edition Stool 60 in wild birch with leather upholstery

Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1933, Stool 60 is one of the most recognisable works of modern furniture. Here it slips into leather shoes handcrafted by Hender Scheme, while the seat is upholstered in vegetable tanned leather, creating a warm, tactile surface that ages gracefully.

Versatile as a seat, side table or display surface, the stool develops a unique patina over time. Made in Finland using a wild birch selection, which uses more of the tree and shows the natural variations occurring in birch: knots, insect trails and colour fluctuations. Available in limited quantities.

Three legs in solid wild birch, clear lacquered matte. Seat core in solid birch and birch plywood. Seat surfaces in natural leather.
