Zip front loopwheel fleece parka with attached hood

Based on a vintage "after hood" hoodie, faithfully recreating the exceptionally rare front zip type where the hood looks almost forcibly attached. Details such as thinned, stretched out vintage ribbing, intentionally distorted pockets and V gusset, and the small hood that can't actually be worn are all reproduced to achieve the beautifully collapsed silhouette of true vintage pieces.

The outer fleece is loopwheel knit based on detailed analysis of vintage garments. Knitting with minimal tension prevents stress on the yarn, resulting in a fabric that is thick yet soft and lofty rather than stiff. The thermal lining is also reproduced from vintage originals, with an original uneven texture waffle fabric recreated from vintage irregular yarns. Finished with an Asahi zipper.

Artisans hand finish each garment to reproduce vintage fading, tonal irregularities and worn in damage. Each piece will vary. Scuffs, small scratches and other inconsistencies are part of the design.
