Vintage Attached Snap Hood Sweat Parka Lavender

Based on an early vintage "after hoody" sweatshirt featuring a snap button front an uncommon detail found on some of the oldest surviving pieces. The intentionally distorted pocket shape, the off balance V gusset, and the comically small hood that can't actually be worn are all faithfully reproduced to capture the collapsed, imperfect silhouette of true vintage garments.
The brushed back fleece was developed by analysing the yarn structure of the original vintage piece. The face yarn is slightly thicker, and the interior features the half brushed texture characteristic of aged vintage sweatshirts.
Skilled artisans hand finish each garment to recreate vintage colour irregularities, wear, and age related damage. Each piece will vary. Scuffs, small scratches, and other irregularities are intentional design elements. Some colours may have lower light fastness and may shift over time.
