Introducing Taiga Takahashi / T.T

Founded by Taiga Takahashi in 2017, T.T is a thoughtful exploration of history, craftsmanship, and contemporary design. Drawing inspiration from vintage American garments and the era before industrialized mass production, the brand reinterprets historical clothing through the lens of exceptional Japanese craftsmanship.

At the heart of T.T lies a deep respect for the makers and techniques of the past. Through extensive research and meticulous development, forgotten construction methods, fabrics, and details are revived and adapted for modern life. Each piece embodies a quiet authenticity, balancing heritage and innovation while honoring the stories embedded within vintage garments.

For Fall/Winter 2026, T.T turns its attention to the uniforms of American postal workers and laborers working in harsh winter conditions during the first half of the twentieth century. Rather than reproducing historical garments, the collection examines their functionality, proportions, and construction, translating these references into a wardrobe that feels both familiar and remarkably contemporary.

Cropped jackets, generous wool trousers, substantial knitwear, shearling outerwear, and characterful denim pieces are presented with the ease and refinement that have become synonymous with the brand. The silhouettes are relaxed yet precise, balancing volume and structure while highlighting the meticulous attention to fabric and detail that defines T.T.
