R21L3 Boat Shirt Black Hide

A wide cut jacket in vegetable tanned horse leather with a pointed collar, raglan sleeves, and elliptical pocket openings. The leather is sourced in Europe as a by product of the meat industry and tanned by Shinki Leather in Himeji, Japan using a traditional pit tanning method. Hides are soaked for extended periods in deep pits filled with natural tannins such as mimosa bark, then dried, cured, and hand finished to reveal a soft, supple grain. Naturally thick and smooth to the touch, horse leather is one of the most durable hides available. Fully lined with dense recycled nylon canvas. Made piece by piece in Osaka.

Care: rub gently with leather conditioner or have professionally cleaned.
