Vintage Denim Jacket Custom

Inspired by 1950s Type I denim jackets, this design simplifies the original into a clean, streamlined silhouette. It features four front buttons, a single front pleat, and compact chest pockets that retain the functional character of classic denim while keeping the overall look minimal.

The jacket is constructed with a one-piece sleeve for clean lines, with slightly increased width below the elbows to allow a comfortable, relaxed fit through the arms without losing structure. The fabric is a recreated version of 1920s No.2 denim, developed through detailed analysis of vintage originals and woven with mixed thread shapes to produce uneven texture and a raw, authentic feel.

Finished with original iron tack buttons that will naturally age and develop patina over time. Each jacket undergoes hand-layered processing to achieve a vintage black denim appearance, resulting in unique variations in color, texture, and wear—no two pieces are exactly alike.
