Crafted from Japanese double faced cotton linen, this fabric contrasts a matte slub weave on one side with a smooth satin finish on the reverse. The satin face is used for the front plastron and internal structure, reinterpreting the elegance of a dinner shirt as functional outerwear. Designed to reveal more satin as the sleeves are rolled, the piece develops a relaxed, disheveled character with wear and softens gradually through gentle mercerisation.
Finished with concealed plastron pockets, a Lampo zipper, saddle shoulder construction, and pearl buttons, the design balances tailored refinement with everyday versatility.
