Vintage USMA HBT M-44 Jacket Black

Based on the USMA M-44 HBT jacket, this design recreates a vintage two-tone appearance by combining two herringbone fabrics with subtle color variation. The front patch and left chest pocket are enlarged and lowered to improve balance and comfort, while the removal of the original gas flap creates a cleaner, more streamlined look. A steeper shoulder slope, lowered armholes, and a slightly contoured front enhance sleeve mobility and overall ease of wear.

The fabric is woven from extra-long cotton slub yarns, with double-twisted warp yarns and alternating slub weft yarns arranged in a herringbone pattern. This construction reflects the natural, irregular texture characteristic of vintage garments produced with early spinning technology. Finished with original tuck buttons, each jacket is carefully processed to preserve its vintage character, resulting in subtle variations that make every piece unique.
