Vintage Silk Hoodie Jacket Sage
Inspired by the U.S. Army M-65 mod coat, this design is radically shortened to transform the traditional field coat into a short, wide outerwear piece. Epaulettes are removed to streamline the shoulders, while the original A-line silhouette and oversized volume are preserved, giving the jacket its distinctive swing and stance. A revised, smaller neckline improves proportion and comfort at the collarbone, and the detachable liner adds versatile layering for transitional wear.
The shell is made from an ultra high-density silk-cotton double cloth, combining the dry resilience of cotton with the softness and subtle sheen of silk. A custom dyeing process reduces surface gloss and introduces natural depth, resulting in a fabric that feels both lived-in and refined. Finished with an Asahi zipper, Fiocchi snap buttons, and an original cotton spindle. Each jacket is hand-aged to create nuanced oxidation, staining, and fading, ensuring every piece carries its own unique character.
