AZUR now at OPIA

Founded in 2019 in Marseille, France, Azur is a conceptual clothing label devoted to the creation of effortless, elegant silhouettes. Rooted in a quiet yet radical approach to design, the brand challenges traditional notions of garment-making through a distinctly modern and artistic lens.

Each piece is thoughtfully conceived, cut, and sewn by the team around Lisa Favreau and Lisa Guedel-Dolle within their century-old family workshop in Marseille. This intimate setting grounds the brand in heritage while allowing space for experimentation, craft, and precision.

The collections are defined by tactile richness and natural materiality. Hand-pleated garments are crafted using organic, fair trade, and cruelty-free Indian silk, alongside French linen and cotton. Every fold reflects a deliberate rhythm—an exploration of movement, light, and structure.

Natural plant-based dyes further shape the identity of each collection, producing a nuanced palette that shifts between vivid rouge, soft glowing beige, and a spectrum of understated, atmospheric tones in between.

At its core, AZUR exists as a study in balance: between tradition and innovation, restraint and expression, craftsmanship and concept.
