RETURNS & REFUNDS

OUR RESPECT TOWARDS BEAUTIFULLY THOUGHT OUT, UNIQUE PRODUCTS IS HIGH AND WE ENCOURAGE A CONSCIOUS APPROACH TO THE PLEASURES OF CONSUMING THEM. WE THEREFORE KINDLY ASK YOU TO CHOOSE WELL AND ORDER THOUGHTFULLY TO MINIMIZE RETURNS, SIMPLFY TRANSACTIONS AND SUPPORT OUR INTENTIONS REGARDING SUSTAINABLE COMMERCE WITHIN THE INDUSTRY. 

 

There are a few important things to keep in mind when returning a product purchased from the Opia Online Store:

Returns

  • You must notify hello@opia.ch of your intention to exchange/return an item within 14 working days of receiving your product.
  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned unused and unaltered. All original packaging and labeling must be returned in good condition as well.
  • You are to cover the costs of your return shipment to the Opia concept store. If the good was faulty this does not apply. Please read the below section on faulty items.

Refunds

  • Refunds will be credited on the means of payment used for the purchase. Refunds are handled within 3 working days of receipt of the returned good. You will be notified with a credit note by email.

Exchanges

  • If you wish to exchange an item please email hello@opia.ch as soon as possible to reserve an alternative article.
  • Items may only be exchanged for other items from the Opia concept store.
  • Initial and return shipping and handling charges are not refunded unless the original items was incorrect or faulty. 

Faulty Items

  • If your item is faulty you may return it or exchange it.
  • Please contact us via email with your order number with in 5 working days of receipt of the original shipment.
  • We will repair, replace or refund the faulty item within 3 working days of receipt of the returned item.
  • Please note your preference in this regard in your email.
  • If the item is faulty we will cover all shipping costs for the replacement or repaired item.

Sale Items

  • Sale items may not be returned or exchanged unless faulty or an incorrect item was sent.

How to return items to us - step by step guide

  • If any of the items you purchased at Opia does not fully meets your expectations just make sure you let us know within 14 working days after receiving your order.
  • Please do so by sending us an email (hello@opia.ch) with the reference number of the order and the name or ID of the product.
  • We will reply as fast as we can (within 2 working days) and confirm the return.
  • Please do not send the products before receiving our confirmation, this way you help us in handling your return as fast as possible.
  • Securely repackage your item. Only tracked/insured shipping methods can be used for returns, just as we do when we send the product to you.
  • You are responsible for the product until it reaches us.
  • All return shipping costs are to be paid by the customer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the processing of my return/refund take?

  • Once we have received your item, your refund will be processed in the original form of payment as soon as possible but latest within 3 working days. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from Opia Online Store .

How long will processing of my exchange take?

  • Once we have received your item, your new item will be sent to you as soon as possible but latest within 5 working days. Once the item has been sent we will provide you with the item's tracking number and the expected arrival date.
